1-bed flat available to rent from 10th July 2019 in sunny Camberwell: £1200 pcm
Do you want to rent our lovely flat? Or know someone who does? Of course you do.
This is a first floor furnished flat within Chester Court on Lomond Grove. So why would you want to live there?
The flat is lovely: The rooms are all bright and spacious and stylish, with nice wooden floors and clean white walls. The dining kitchen has been recently done up and is particularly nice. The bedroom is delightfully large (that's a king sized bed in the photo!). The bathroom is separated into a toilet room and a room with a walk-in shower (both rooms have wash basins; no bath). And there's a little open plan area that we used as a study but could also be used for storage.
The local area is brilliant: This flat is a minute's walk from Burgess Park, which has just been done up, and features all sorts of nice things. Kennington Park and Ruskin Park are also walkable. It's about a 5 minute walk from a wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, Camberwell's new library, the local swimming pool. Camberwell has become nicer and nicer and it is a fantastic place to live.
It has fantastic transport links:
It's a good price: £1200 is slightly below market rent, and in return we'd like you to look after it well, and deal with things that need done (e.g. arranging an electrician, or whatever, as required - though of course we'd pay for them as appropriate)

It has fantastic transport links:
- Overground: Denmark Hill station is 0.8 miles away
- Underground: Oval station is 1 mile away, Kennington station is 1.2 miles away and Elephant and Castle 1.3 miles
- Bus: There are buses to most places you'd ever want to go, most of which leave from the Medlar Street stop, a mere minute from your front door: 18 mins to Waterloo, 22 mins to Westminster, etc.
- Cycle: It's surprisingly speedy to get anywhere in London from Chester Court. And bonus: there's a bike shed. A key comes with the flat.
- Car: We even include a parking permit to use the private car park

The dining kitchen looks out into the courtyard. It is lovely and bright, with beautiful wood worksurfaces and integrated appliances - washing machine, fridge freezer, oven etc; Kartell pendant lightshade, and the Heals dining table can extend.

The bedroom has a king sized bed, plus a big wardrobe and two chests of drawers, yet there's still lots of space. The window looks into the courtyard, and it's beautifully quiet.

This is the little toilet room. Note some storage. It's nice. We don't have a photo of the shower room next door, but it's a walk-in shower with brick-style wall cladding, more storage, and another sink. Nice floor tiles.

This is the open plan area between the kitchen (from where this photo was taken) and the shower room and toilet room (both to the left, on either side of the tall shelves). The custom shelves give loads of storage, and you can't quite see here, but their surface extends to give a desk area if you want to add a chair and use this as your study, which we did. The current tenants have gone more for storage.

This is an approximate floorplan (51m approx) except the toilet should be right at the back, and there is a shower, not a bath.
WHERE IS IT?
Don't be fooled - it's not part of the Elmington Estate. It's on Lomond Grove.
