Perfect Liars Club show - September 9th 2013 at the Science Club

Perfect Liars Club returned after a summer break for our fourth show - another sold out success at the Science Club! Yet again we had to turn people away, but those who got in had a hilarious time with one of our best shows yet. Our quartet of suspects - in first name alphabetical order - were Adam Ruben, Derek Hills, Lauren Campbell, and Molly Murchie, and all of them had stories worthy of suspicion. Was Adam really mugged at gunpoint? Did Derek really find himself in a compromising situation on stage in Amsterdam? Had Lauren really sampled the bargain basement world of student shrinks? And had Molly really found herself in a relationship with an Insane Clown Posse-following juggalo? After lots of careful and amusing questioning (including some Baltimore ladies intent on assessing the veracity of Adam's geographical claims), but the key question came from one shrewd audience member: Had Molly put on makeup for her date? Thus, why did she splash water on her face? It's details like that which leave a story to crumble... but in fact only a few astute voters picked up on the discrepancy. The majority voted that Derek was the liar - perhaps because they hoped his sordid tale couldn't be true... And Molly triumphed, and was crowned September's perfect liar.
