Perfect Liars Club Tokyo - Romance or not special show – Feb 15th 2018
Good Heavens Bar
What an EPIC show! With some serious sleuthing going on, possibly due to the highest number of notepads we've seen at a Tokyo show, which meant there was no escape for the Suspects!!
The sleuth audience were evenly split on who the liar was, but a few votes tipped it, and the Sleuthers literally went NUTS when our Hopeless Liar stepped forward!!
Why was it such a victory for the Sleuthers? Well, we had misjudged ninja shenanigans on the streets of Vancouver from Jeremy, a near death snowmobile accident with a rescue that would make Bear Grylls shudder from Jonathan, Ilana had a run in with an ex and a 13th Century samurai sword, and Farnaz was nearly arrested for murder at an Iranian airport because her boxed skeleton was in great condition.
Again, the audience revealed in the Sleuth Booth, that they were split on who was the liar, leaning towards our near death experience and ninja mishap Suspects. It was then during the interrogation, that the smartphones glowed on their notes page and the note pads were consulted to help Sleuthers shrewdly ask their questions.
How exactly did Jonathan manage to hang onto the snowmobile while it dangled off a cliff? How does Farnaz know that it’s damaging to x-ray a human skeleton? Smartphones weren’t around in 2008, how could you have accidentally answered that call, Ilana? And, Jeremy, where exactly was that alcove in relation to the road when the Police vans pulled up?
Votes were cast. The audience voted bone-loving Farnaz as the least likely to be lying, followed by Ninja Jeremy, leaving it as a close call between misjudging Jonathan and avoiding Ilana. The drumroll was loud, the Suspects teased, the Sleuthers literally went nuts as Ilana stepped forward and revealed herself as the Hopeless Liar. Better luck next time Suspects. Maybe more of you should bring your notepads.
