The grand farewell Layla show

Ladies and gentlemen, Layla and Roz started Perfect Liars Club Tokyo in October 2016... but October 2017 was their last show in Tokyo. Before handing it over to the fabulous Christiane, they had to go out in style with an absolutely more-than-sold-out Friday night extravaganza!

Our four suspects were as cunning as ever. But who was the liar?

• Was it Ariel, who claimed to have run naked through a library and immortalised on film?
• Was it Chris who alleged he had freed monkeys from a zoo in Costa Rica?
• Was it Danielle who apparently got into trouble for inviting her boyfriend to her NASA internship?
  
• Or was it Elijah whose experiences 'off-book' in India caused more than a little anxiety?

Danielle was deemed the least suspicious, while a full half of the audience (nearly 50 people) thought Chris was the liar... This was far higher than the number who believed he is aged 50. But then the moment of revelation came. The age thing was real, but the monkey liberation was not. Exactly a year since Chris was our first Perfect Liars Club Tokyo liar (and rumbled for it), he was rumbled once more.

But before we said goodbye, we were very excited to crown two brand new Perfect Liars Club MCs: Christiane for Tokyo and Mishel for Tel Aviv! Hooray!
